What a day in Cairngorm. Although some of the top lifts were shut due to the 50mph winds, the whole mountain was covered in deep snow. For the first time I was able to ski down the lower slopes through the usually inaccessible Coire Na Ciste to the lower car park. What a fantastic run that was, with only Mark (Bailey) and myself around.
With more snow forecast next week, just hope that I get another chance before this amazing season finishes. Who needs to go abroad for such spectacular skiing?
